CROWN CENTER
The are a variety of family friendly activities all connected to the conference hotel.
CROSSROADS AREA
Crossroads is an area just north of the conference hotel. This area has a vibrant art scene with many studios including some engineering and architecture studios. This area has many bars, restaurants, and jazz clubs.
UNION STATION
Union Station is accessible to the conference hotel by a skywalk and Amtrak! The Streetcar line current starts here and heads north. There are many exhibits and options to explore.
POWER AND LIGHT DISTRICT
This area is located downtown, just a few stops north of the conference hotel via the Streetcar. There are many bars and restaurants in this open air entertainment district. You may find KC locals cheering on their favorite sports team at the giant outdoor screen within the district. T-Mobile area is also located in this area.
NATIONAL WORLD WAR I MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM
The World War I Memorial is located directly west of the conference hotel and north of Union Station. This is the only World War I Memorial in the county. If you desire to visit the museum we recommend allowing plenty of time to experience the exhibits included.

Located a little further from the conference hotel, we believe the trip is worth it! Home to our historic jazz district this area includes live music clubs and terrific BBQ restaurants. The the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is also located in this area.
