Topic: A Summary on the City Of Kansas City Streetcar and Other Capital Improvement Projects and Programs.
Speaker: Sherri McIntyre – Assistant City Manager of City of Kansas City, Missouri
Sherri McIntyre is an Assistant City Manager working primarily on infrastructure related issues for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. She also serves as the recently appointed Director of Public Works. She has a strong background in transportation and municipal infrastructure. She has been in her current role for the City about two years, after spending time working for private engineering firms. She has eight years of previous service with the City, working in Public Works Engineering, and over 10 years with Missouri Department of Transportation.
Sherri’s current duties include working with the internal City infrastructure departments of Public Works, Capital Projects, Water Services, and Parks and Recreation. She serves as one of the City’s leads on the Downtown Streetcar proposal. She also serves as a liaison between the City with external customers ranging from Missouri Department of Transportation, MARC, design professionals, and construction community.

Come join Engineers Without Borders – Kansas City Professionals for their March General Meeting, Monday March 19th at 5:30PM. The Chief Environmental Officer for the City (KCMO) will be joining us to talk about Sustainability Initiatives in KCMO and around the Metro area. We will also be providing ways to get involved both internationally and locally as we grow our chapter. The meeting will be in the W1 Training Room at Black & Veatch (8400 Ward Parkway Kansas City MO). Hope to see you there!
