Our elected and appointed
officials make decisions every day that affect the civil engineering
profession. As a U.S. citizen, you are obligated to participate in the
process and as an engineer you have a unique perspective that can
benefit society as a whole.
Join ASCE Government
Relations staff to learn the basics of public policy involvement for
civil engineers, including why it's important to your career and how
to take full advantage of Key Contact resources and activities. We will
explore case studies of successful and unsuccessful advocates and
develop advocacy strategies for interacting with your elected and
appointed leaders.
